Area deprivation and the prevalence of non-communicable diseases: Analysis at the block level in Punjab
SPARC (Scheme for Promotion of Academic and Research Collaboration) is an initiative by the Indian Government which aims to expand academic networks. This cooperation includes collaborative research on the topic of regional deprivation and socio-economic inequalities in health and health care in the Indian state of Punjab. This partnership further includes local teaching and research activities together with the staff at the Indian Institute of Technology (ITT) in Mandi.
Our partnering organisation, the ITT Mandi, is located in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Our local partner there is Dr. Ramna Thakur.
